The demolition process relies on extensive preparation. To start, we surround the structure with a cordon to keep materials and people safe from falling debris. Next, we remove any items that might be damaged by the demolition. Once these areas are cleared out, we begin removing the building using protective gear, and heavy equipment, like backhoes and jackhammers. Once the structure is leveled we ensure thorough removal of all building materials.

Coring

Concrete-core drilling is the process of removing a cylindrical portion of concrete from a structure. Concrete-core drilling is used to drill through concrete walls, floors, ceilings, and other structures at any angle, vertical or horizontal. The coring process is considered to be safe and relatively low-impact, as it is dust-free, produces little noise. It can also be used in a variety of work sites, including homes, offices, industrial buildings, and more.

Saw Cuts

Vanco provides a full range of non-explosive, non-destructive controlled demolition methods like saw cuts (slab sawing, wall sawing and curb cutting). Our experienced team values these methods for their speed, precision and flexibility on the jobsite.

Slab Sawing: Slab sawing cuts precise slabs from a variety of materials, such as metal, steel-reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete, asphalt and stone.
Wall Sawing: Wall sawing is a controlled demolition procedure that uses the track saw to cut precisely plumb, level or beveled edges in shear walls, masonry walls, pre-cast concrete, reinforced concrete and metal.
Curb Cutting: Our curb cutting units can saw through metal, concrete and asphalt over long distances. These saws can speed through foundation walls and retaining walls.
Metal Saw Cutting: Vanco's Metal Cutting uses precision wire sawing, a non-destructive method of controlled demolition that minimizes disturbance to existing and remaining structures. This is ideal for tackling the demanding jobs that other contractors find beyond their ability.
